Astro customers can usher in the new year and celebrate
this holiday season with the much anticipated return of the Astro Fiesta Channels on Astro Channel 150-152 in SD and Astro Channel 155-157 in HD only from 26th December 2011 – 8th
January 2012. The return of Astro
Fiesta is once again our way of expressing our appreciation and gratitude to
all our loyal Astro customers over the last 15 years and is available for FREE,
exclusively to all Astro customers. The Astro Fiesta channels will include some
of the best programmes from many of our local and international channel
partners on Astro.
Also, Astro customers will be treated to a Preview of the all new and exclusive FOX Family Movies Channel, which will
be available on Astro Channel 152 in
SD and Astro Channel 157 in HD for a limited time
from 26th Dec 2011 – 8th Jan 2012 . Viewers can look
forward to various family signatures movies on FOX Family Movies including The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Tim
Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Toy Story 1,2,3 and much more.
That’s not all! Astro is also pleased to announce the launch
of STAR World HD (Astro Ch 722) on Dec 26th, 2011 as an addition
to the High-Definition channels currently on the Astro B.yond platform. Now Astro
B.yond customers subscribing to the Astro Variety package can watch many of
their favourite shows on Star World HD in High Definition like American Idol S11, Glee S3, Junior
MasterChef Australia S2, Dancing with the Stars, America’s Next Top Model S17 and
many more.
Make a date with Astro Fiesta this holiday season for
some of the best local and international shows - something for everyone and for
the whole family to truly enjoy.
Fans, both young and old will not want to miss the all
new TV series of Nickelodeon’s Kung Fu Panda: The Legend of Awesomeness
– whereby the First episode will premiere exclusively on the Astro Fiesta
