I was invited to the gala screening by Thomas Chia for Yasmin Ahmad's Muallaf. Most of the main cast (Brian Yap, Sharifah Amani, Sharifah Aleysha, Tan Mei Ling, Yeo Yann Yann and Toni Savarimuthu) were at the screening with cocktail provided and some industry big wigs like director Hafsham whom I admire his opinions on filmaking, Azean Irdawaty and G Fatimah Abu Bakar. Models turned actors Steve Yap, Alan Yun (hello...we meet again) and Carmen Soo also graced the event.

A special mention of appreciation to Yasmin's sister, Orked Ahmad who introduced the cast and film to us. Thank you.

Film rating: 4.5 out of 5 (a must watch). Another masterpiece by Yasmin. You are much loved and admired.
