Something of concern:
"Kuala Lumpur was not the only the East Coast that has been hit by floods. Several areas in the federal capital also suffered from flash floods after heavy rainfall. A stretch of the KL-Seremban Expressway was under water while other affected areas were Jalan Pudu, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, the Federal Highway and several locations in Wangsa Maju."
- Excerpt from The Star Online dated 3 December 2009.
My two cents worth: Correct me if I am sorely mistaken that the SMART Tunnel was built to mitigate these floods especially at some obvious areas near the tunnel? Here comes the barrage of excuses from the so-called authorities.

the SMART Tunnel has been built but according to the management they have yet to identify the pond(s) to direct the flow of water. This was the reason given in the previous flood casualties in KL.
sO the SMART TUNNEL isn't that SMART afterall. . .. :(
The SMART tunnel was a gross misnomer, imho.
jue...we should give our own definition to the acronym SMART.
haza...you hit the jackpot there. just imagine the chan sow lin road and the smart tunnel is so near...and still flooded...sheeeesssh!
